The technology of removing internal burrs is difficult. Because the special device for removing internal burrs is inside the steel pipe, the working environment is very poor, invisible and inaccessible. It is affected by the accuracy of the strip, the accuracy of the unit equipment, the forming process and the shape of the weld. Not guaranteed.
Internal burrs are usually removed on a continuous welded pipe production line, and can also be removed off-line. There are currently several methods for removing internal burrs:
Cutting method: This method uses a fixed cutting edge or a rotating cutting head that extends into the tube to cut the burr.
Rolling method: This method uses a rolling device that extends into the tube to plastically deform the inner burr to achieve the effect of reducing the height of the inner burr.
Oxidation method: At the beginning of welding of anti-corrosion spiral steel pipes, a vent nozzle is used to spray an oxygen flow to the inner weld, and the residual heat of the weld is used to accelerate the oxidation of the inner burrs and fall off under the airflow.
Drawing method: When the anti-corrosion spiral steel pipe passes through the mold, the burr inside the steel pipe is removed by the ring blade of the floating plug.
The outer burr removal device has a planer and two planer types. When one planer is used to stop the machine and change the tool, while two planers are used to remove the burr, the tool can be changed without stopping.
