China Line steel pipes

Line steel pipes are hollow tubes used for long distance pipelines in transporting combustible liquids and gases which can be mostly seen in industrial frameworks of energy distribution. These pipes are durable due to its high corrosion resistance property and thus can be also used for constructing long distance pipelines for nuclear station, heating system and general- purpose. The diameter of line steel pipes can range from 1.8 to 42 inches. The importance of oil and gas transportation and distribution for the energy supply has encouraged the production of line steel pipes. Initially, it was marketed mostly in Middle East, US, China etc. However, due to increase in production activity and exploration of several natural energies reservoir, the demand of line steel pipes has been doubled. Over the next decade the line steel pipe manufacturing unit will play a vital role.

Line steel pipes are manufactured and smelted in the electric furnace, treated with synthetic slags and casted. This steel making process ensures the achievement of chemically pure steel with reference to sulphur and phosphor contents providing high tensile, ductility and corrosion resistance properties enabling the pipes to hold the gas or combustible fluid at low temperatures in various corrosion media. Besides this, water based corrosion proofing paint is been applied on the outer surface of the pipe. These water based paint helps protect against any kind of outer corrosion or damage of the line steel pipes during transportation.

Mining Ore:
Ores are condensed form of minerals from which iron can be extracted. The quality of iron depends on the metallic content of the ore. These ores can be also called as raw iron. The raw irons are primary material to manufacture steel. The ore is then smelted to prepare for casting.

Smelting of Iron:
This process extracts the usable metal the ores. The raw iron is then putted into a huge special designed furnace to remove the impurities. The ore is heated in the furnace and oxidate to reduce carbon content and the carbon monoxide produce in the process helps remove oxygen from the ore. After the removal of oxygen, free metal is left which is use for casting.

Casting Iron:
The heating temperature for casting iron is lower than that of smelting. It refines the smelted metal, the refined metal is then molded, rolled over and formed cylindrical shape with hollow in the mid. A bullet shaped piercer is pushed through the hollow while rolling to regularize the size and the pipe is ready.

Sulfuric acid is used for cleaning the pipe while its on process of making. At the end of the manufacturing the line pipe, oiling is been done on the pipe to protect it. The pipes can be cut according to customers requirement.

Circular welded non-alloy steel pipes of circular cross-section not more than 406.4 millimeters (16 inches) in outside diameter tubes are generally known as standard steel pipes and Tubes. Regardless of wall thickness, the surface finish of standard pipes are black, galvanized, or painted and the end finish is plain end, beveled end, threaded, or threaded and coupled. Unfinished conduit pipe is also included in these orders. Standard pipe is produced in Continuous Weld, Electric Resistance Weld, and Seamless.

These pipes are intended for the low pressure conveyance of water, steam, natural gas, and other liquids and gases in plumbing and heating systems, air conditioning units, automatic sprinkler systems, and other related uses. Standard steel pipes and tubes may also be used for light load-bearing applications, such as for fence tubing and as structural pipe tubing used for framing and support members for reconstruction or load-bearing purposes in the construction, shipbuilding, trucking, farm equipment, and related industries.
